I’ve no idea where this guy has come from. But what I do know is that Medasin has burst onto my radar to drop one of the best tracks I’ve heard this year. Period.
‘Gold’ manages to capture all the best qualities from every corner of the trap spectrum, and rolls them into one concise, hard-as fuck track. The production is top-tier, and the dark, haunting atmosphere of the track juxtaposed with dramatic, relentless energy makes for a wild ride.
This is certainly a track that you need flowing through speakers or headphones of your choice at the highest volume possible. It might permanently damage your hearing, but who cares? This shit is pure gold.
